What you are buying

Paid Plainscrape usage is sold as one-time page packs through Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. A pack credits a fixed number of pages onto the account. Pack pages are good for 12 months from purchase. There is no subscription.

Checkout currently offers a 1,000-page pack at $16 USD. Prices are set by us at checkout. Volume above 1,000 pages is a quote — write to enterprise@plainscrape.com.

The 100-page signup trial is separate from pack pages and is not a purchase, so it is not a refundable item.

Unused pages

Unused pages from a paid pack are not refundable once they have been credited to the account. Pack pages expire 12 months after purchase. If we close an account for a breach of the acceptable use policy, unused pack pages are forfeited.

When we will refund

If a payment was captured and we never credited the pages, we will either credit them or refund that capture in full. If the same checkout was charged twice, we will refund the duplicate. There is no calendar window on those two cases — write as soon as you see them.

Except for those cases, pack purchases are final. We are not obliged to refund for slow extractions, blocked target sites, incomplete results, unused pages, or because you closed the account.

How to request

Email hello@plainscrape.com from the account address. Include the Transaction ID from your Dodo Payments confirmation email or attached invoice (shown as Transaction ID) and what went wrong. We refund through Dodo Payments to the original method. Refunds are not self-serve in the dashboard.

Failed charges

If a payment is not completed, no pages are credited. There is nothing to refund in that case.

Disputes

If you open a chargeback or payment dispute, we may pause the account while it is reviewed. Unfounded or abusive disputes may lead to suspension or closure, and unused pack pages on an account closed for breach are forfeited as described above.
